Benjamin Brewer, M.D.
Director
Dr. Brewer received his doctorate in 1994 from Southern Illinois University and is the founder and director of Serenity MedSpa, as well as Prairie Family Medicine & Obstetrics located in Forrest, IL. Serenity has been offering aesthetic services to central Illinois since December of 2006. Dr. Brewer specializes in facial injectables, fractional skin resurfacing, PDO threads and Votiva. Dr Brewer is at our Susan Drive location.
Karen Bach
Office Manager
Karen has been with Serenity MedSpa since opening in 2007. Karen is a trained Jane Iredale Make Up Consultant, and she also has extensive knowledge of the Serenity Skin Solutions product line, and our Ortho Molecular, and Standard Process supplements. Karen’s favorite services are Botox and filler, and she loves our Jane Iredale Makeup line.
Heather Jebb
Head of Operations
Heather is Head of Operations here at Serenity and has been with us for almost 5 years. Heather graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky and pursued her master’s degree from Illinois State University. Heather is very knowledgeable about the services and products we offer and is always available to answer questions you may have. Her favorite services are IPL and Botox.
Courtney James
Laser Technician/ Medical Esthetician
Courtney received her aesthetics certification at Midwest College of Cosmetology in Normal, IL in 2007. She also has extensive training performing chemical peels, laser hair reduction and intense pulse light (IPL) treatments. She is available for Dermaplane, Diamond Glow, Peels, IPL and laser hair removal. You can find Courtney at our Susan Drive location.
Stephanie Kim
Medical Esthetician
Stephanie Kim has been a licensed aesthetician since 1997. She has advanced training in Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, chemical peels and waxing. She has been an owner of her own Day Spa, but more recently she has expanded her knowledge and credentials by working in a Dermatology office for the past 7 years. She has lived and worked in Bloomington for 26 years. Stephanie can be found at our Hershey Road location.
Kara Granadino
Nurse Injector
Kara is a registered nurse here at Serenity. She received her Bachelor’s of Nursing degree from Lakeview College of Nursing in 2001 and now has over 10 years of Nurse Injector experience and 7 years in emergency medicine. She is also a licensed cosmetologist! Kara is available for facial injectables and PRFM at our Susan Drive location.
